Description

   Clear Lake Reservoir is a small to medium sized high altitude lake. It is a very scenic drive on Guanella Pass Road to reach the lake. Access to the lake is very easy. The lake is surrounded by rocky hillside and moderately dense forest typical of the high country in the Rockies. There is no development around the lake and as the name implies, the water is usually clear. There is a small creek leading into and out of the lake. It is not possible to paddle this creek. There is almost always someone at this lake but usually there are not many people.
