Georgetown Lake is located 37 miles W of Denver right off of I-70.

Description

    Although it is in the mountains, Georgetown Lake is not very pretty. It is very easy access. Clear creek flows into and out of Georgetown lake but can only be paddled with a whitewater kayak and a good degree of skill. There is some development around the lake but not much.
